Cost of patios vary

There’s never an exact cost for a patio, it can and does vary. This is because it depends on the size, complexity of design, and the materials used. Remember, It’s the kind of space where you’ll not only relax in, but where you can cook outside and generally entertain your friends. With this in mind we could be talking anything between £1,000 and £5,000 depending on your exact needs.

Materials and price

What materials you use affects the price you pay. Concrete is an useful option for a patio, but if you decide to use stone, then you’ll most likely pay a lot more. You’ll be given a price per square metre for whichever material you use and then you’ll need to factor in installation, other materials and any special features you decide upon. When it comes to paving you can use a variety of different materials such as clay, cement, field stone or brick. Brick or concrete are both very popular.

As we’ve seen there are many different factors to consider, aesthetics, location, the quality of design, installation and the type of patio you choose, how simple or complex it is, and of course the depth of your budget.
